Sick

My husband and I aren't usuallysick at the same time.  This time we were.

The good thing about that is that we got to spend a whole day snuggling together and comforting each other.  We usually don't get to do that.

Check This Out

http://chickensintheroad.com/living/a-happy-card/

OK, I read this blog almost daily.  Mainly I read it because this woman is building a farm from nothing but the land just a few hours from where my Granny lived in West Virginia.  She's also funny and she puts pictures of baby farm animals on her blog.

This post that is linked is about being positive no matter your circumstances.

Little Joys

I really can't express to you how difficult it can be for a pessimistic, jaded, sarcastic person to come up with positive posts for a blog called positive posts from a pessimist.

Oh, here's something really good.  My son made dinner tonight. While I was working out.  I strained a groin muscle.  :-)

That duvet cover in little joys two.  Love that duvet cover.

Little Joys Three

Sunsets.  This is more an overflowing well feeling than a little zing.  I love sunsets.

Little Joys Two

A kitty sleeping on the bed.  A kitty sleeping just about anywhere.  Even though cats are more accessories than actual pets when compared to dogs, a house just doesn't feel homey without one sleeping somewhere.

Series: Little Joys

On my other blog I'm doing a series on pet peeves so on this one, because it's supposed to be positive, lets do little joys.

A little joy would be the opposite of a pet peeve.  Something little that when it happens sends a zing of joy into your heart.

Here's mine for the day.

A happy, playful dog running through the kitchen swinging his Christmas present toy in his mouth.

A Really Neat Thing

I have a bunch of nieces and nephews.  I didn't get to be with all of them while they were growing up because three of them live out of state.  I did get to be around two of them regularly and two of them all the time.  So there are seven of them and they are all grown ups now.  Five of them have children of their own.  These are just my side of the family.  My husband has a nephew and a niece.  The nephew is in the same age range as my nieces and nephews and the niece is my daughter's age.

The really neat thing about having nieces and nephews is that they naturally multiply.  They meet neat people and fall in love and then those neat people are automatic nieces and nephews of mine.  I LOVE that.  I love that new people get added every so often to our ever- growing family.  I also love that they then have kids.  So I have great nieces and nephews to love.  They are really neat people too.  I just love my family.
