I'm done my Christmas shopping.  Still have to grocery shop though.  Hoping to claim some Christmas Spirit this week.

The little birds are so cute all fluffed up and chubby looking in their feather coats.

Fun

This one is just plain true.  Had a ton of fun baking cookies with the girls from my Middle School Bible Study tonight.  And we filled the church kitchen with smoke because the oven needs to be cleaned.

Drama

Is something I do not pursue.  I try to keep from being sucked into drama.  I have enough real drama without borrowing any or inventing any.

Sometimes

I feel like I want to tear my own skin off.  I think it's hormonal.  Bright side=an easy way to lose some weight.  Not sure how well the body would function without skin though.

On Being Sad

One day I will live in a place where there is no sadness, sickness, sin, pain, death, or evil. I will be happy there.

No sarcasm

The past 3 days have been absolutely beautiful. Blue skies, no humidity, and temps in the 70's. Perfect.

On A 65 Degree Day in August

I can open up the windows and air out the house.

OK

So, I guess you get the idea that this is sort of tongue in cheek. I am really a pessimist and have been trying to be more positive lately because no one likes a debbie downer. But really, when I have a negative thought, I try to think of the bright side and then I post it. Sometimes the positives will sound a bit sarcastic. That's who I am. I am a last born so it's really inevitable if you believe in that sort of thing. Anyway, posting the positives helps me to realign my thinking and actually be more positive. And it's funny. I think so anyway. If I don't think I'm funny who else will?? I crack myself up.

On Anne Rice Renouncing Christianity

Christians will step back and look at themselves and see if they are offending each other or the world by their actions or if they are living a life like Jesus.
